Telecom New Zealand and Garmin-Asus today announced that the A10 will be available on August 26 for Telecom New Zealand customers.

The Garmin-Asus A10 has one of the easiest-to-use location experiences available because it integrates the world’s best selling Garmin GPS navigator with the power of the Android smartphone system.

The A10 has the same core features as a high-end Garmin GPS and is ideal for use on the dash of your car or when on foot. Customers will have everything they need to use the device in their car including a full in-car mount and car charger. It comes preloaded with maps and a plethora of preloaded points of interest in New Zealand, as well as a Yellow Pages search so that users are always accessing the most up-to-date contact information.

The A10 is also the first device in New Zealand to offer photoReal™ Junction View, a feature that gives a realistic photo overlay of key New Zealand motorway off ramps in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. The A10 also supports AA Real Time Traffic updates that will route drivers around road delays.
